About Sedig's Place

Sedig's Place is a small home-based maker in Tonopah, a desert community west of Phoenix, selling through eBay and Amazon's Handmade program. Its own description mentions home-made, laser-engraved and 3D-printed goods for prospecting, rockhounding and organizing; on the prospecting side the line is built around tools for working bedrock.

The crevice tools come in 10-inch and 12-inch lengths with blades of AR500, an abrasion-resistant steel, on handles with a wrist strap or a lanyard. A thinner 8-inch version uses .032-inch 1095 spring steel for tight cracks where a heavier blade will not go. One buyer wrote in an eBay review that you can pry on rocks with it without the blade bending, something they had not found in other crevicing tools.

The shop also sells a high-suction sniper bulb for pulling material out of underwater cracks. Shipping inside the USA is free, and eBay buyers can arrange a free pickup in Tonopah.
