About Gold Fever of the West Valley (GPAA)

Gold Fever of the West Valley is the GPAA chapter for the west side of the Phoenix area: the association lists it under Sun City, and some years ago its meetings were held in Peoria. With about 90 members it is one of the bigger chapters in Arizona.

The chapter meets on the second Tuesday of the month at 7 pm in the hall of Disabled American Veterans Chapter 20, at 8447 N 61st Ave in Glendale. Its news and outings go out on the chapter's Facebook group.

When two GPAA claims needed an emergency clean-up in June 2019, Gold Fever was one of the chapters the Phoenix group called on.

The chapter is the local face of the national association: membership brings the claim guide, and the Tuesday meeting is where you find someone to head out to those claims with.
