About Nugget Shooter Metal Detector Sales
Bill Southern has been hunting gold nuggets with a metal detector for well over 30 years, the last 20 or so mostly with Minelab machines, and he is a Minelab Certified Expert. He lives in southern Arizona and does most of his hunting in the deserts of the Southwest, for nuggets first but also for meteorites, coins and relics.
Nugget Shooter is both his website and his business. Every Minelab detector he sells comes with hands-on training in the Arizona goldfields, and so do selected machines from other brands; besides Minelab he is an authorized dealer for Garrett, XP, Nokta, Coiltek and DetectorPro. His wife Tammy took up detecting about five years ago, and the two film their trips for two YouTube channels, Nugget Shooter Journal and Nugget Shooterette Expeditions.
There is a small shop too, on Highway 60/89 (Grand Avenue) in Morristown, between Wickenburg and Sun City. It occupies an old miner's cabin on a property developed in the early 1900s. It keeps no regular opening hours: call first and agree a time, or order online or by phone.
The site also carries his articles on nugget hunting, and on the basics he is firm: stay off marked claims and private land unless you have permission, and fill every hole you dig.
