About Doc's Detecting Supply
Doc's Detecting Supply is a metal detecting business from the Las Vegas area built around gold nugget hunting. It is a certified Minelab dealer and carries Minelab's certified gold trainer badge, but what sets it apart is the gear it designs and sells under its own names: Doc's, Gold Screamer and Nugget Stalker.
The Gold Screamer line began as an add-on for Minelab's GPX pulse induction detectors: an amplifier with a regulated battery pack, later joined by an external speaker and a signal amplifier sold for any detector. The Swingy Thingy is a harness with a bungee that carries the weight of heavy gold detectors off the arm; the Ultra Swingy Thingy adds the Qwipple bungee, which adjusts instantly, and the SAGA arm guides the swing.
For digging, the Nugget Stalker gold pick is sold as the only pick a detectorist needs, and the Gold SPOT and Gold PIT scoops double as small portable gold pans for checking a target on the spot. The same brand covers leg gaiters with built-in knee pads, leather nugget pouches and fitted cover sets for the Minelab GPX 6000, GPZ 7000, Equinox, Gold Monster and Manticore and for the Garrett Axiom.
There is no showroom and no local pickup: everything is ordered by phone or online and shipped. Besides its own products, Doc's sells Minelab detectors and coils, Nugget Finder coils, Detector Pro headphones, scales for weighing nuggets and meteorites, batteries and chargers, and DVDs on Minelab's gold detectors.
