Rock and mineral club for Orange County, for people interested in rocks, minerals and fossils. Meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 7 PM (no meeting in December) at the Green Valley Homeowners' Recreation Building, 10739 Los Jardines West, Fountain Valley; visitors are always welcome. The club has a workshop for cutting, shaping and polishing stones, runs field trips and campouts (Davis Creek obsidian, Jalama Beach) and publishes the newsletter Chips n' Splinters.
