Gem and mineral society founded in 1948 in Bellflower, for lapidary and minerals, with field trips. Meets on the second Friday of each month at 7 PM (no meeting in December) on the grounds behind Holy Redeemer Church, 14515 Blaine Ave., Bellflower. The club holds rock and gem sales in its parking lot, in June and before the holidays, and members give rock and mineral talks in the community.
