Ventura Gem & Mineral Society
Gem and mineral society with its own workshop and museum near Ojai. Meets at 7:30 PM (social at 7) at the Poinsettia Pavilion, Santa Paula Room, 3451 Foothill Rd., Ventura: on the fourth Wednesday from January to October and on the second Wednesday in November and December; meetings can also be followed on Zoom. Field trips for agate, jasper and serpentine (Clear Creek in October 2026), visits to fee-dig sites and fossil trips such as Shark Tooth Hill; the Ventura Gem Show is held at the county fairgrounds every March.
