Rockhound club founded in 1954, sister club of the Woodland Hills Rock Chippers. Meets on the first Thursday of each month at 7 PM at Northridge United Methodist Church, 9650 Reseda Blvd., Northridge; guests are welcome. Monthly collecting field trips (in fall 2026 Wrightwood for actinolite and the Boron area for jasper, agate, bloodstone, geodes and petrified wood), lapidary workshop days for members and a Rocks In Your Classroom program for schools.
