Based in Stockton, California.

stocktonlapidary.org ↗

Lapidary and mineral club organized in 1939 to promote the study of earth sciences, with its own clubhouse and workshop at 3136 East Anita Street, Stockton, since 1959. Members meet on the third Saturday of the month, snacks at noon and meeting at 1 PM, ending with a rock exchange drawing. The workshop is open on Monday and Wednesday evenings and on some Tuesdays and Saturdays, with classes in lapidary, silversmithing, faceting, wire wrapping, beading and lost-wax casting; the first two visits are free. The club leads field trips with the other clubs of the Co-op, such as Clear Creek on October 24, 2026, and brings its collection of rocks, minerals and fossils to school classrooms.
