Antioch Lapidary Club
Lapidary club founded in 1955, home of Antioch petrified wood: its logo is cut from a single piece found in town. Meets on the second Thursday of each month in the evening at the clubhouse, 425 Fulton Shipyard Road, Antioch (the entrance is the driveway just past the railroad tracks). A cutting and polishing lab, cabochon and silversmith shops, and field trips with the North Bay field trip group for rough gems, minerals, rocks and fossils.
Around here, the land is mostly private
