Rockhound club of northern San Luis Obispo County, founded in 1992; its club rock is the Biconoid, the core of the Templeton-area thundereggs. General meetings on the third Monday of each month at 7 PM at the Templeton Community Building, 601 S. Main St., Templeton, open to all. Members-only field trips for jasper, agate and thundereggs and for shark teeth and fossil shells, Lapidary Days and the Treasures of the Earth Rock & Gem Show in Atascadero every April.
