Gem and mineral club of San Luis Obispo. Meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 7 PM (doors open around 6) at the SLO Senior Center in Mitchell Park, at the corner of Santa Rosa and Buchon streets, with a junior rockhound program at every meeting. Cabbing, tumbling, faceting and carving, guided field trips, and the Gems by the Sea show every September at the Alex Madonna Expo Center.
