About Central Coast Gold Prospectors (GPAA Paso Robles)
Central Coast Gold Prospectors is the name used by the Paso Robles chapter of the Gold Prospectors Association of America. The national directory files it under Paso Robles, but the chapter meets a few miles south in Templeton, at the American Legion Post 220 hall, 805 South Main Street, on the first Friday of each month at 6:30 PM. In October 2026 the directory gave it 29 members.
The chapter's Facebook page, followed by more than 2,700 people, sums up what it does in a few words: gold prospecting, panning and public demos, with all ages welcome.
Joining goes through the national association.
