No accounts, no tracking
Eureka has no user accounts, no advertising and no tracking or profiling cookies. We do not sell personal data.
Technical data
When you visit the site, our hosting provider (Vercel) and our database provider (Supabase) automatically process technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, in order to deliver the site and keep it secure. Some providers may process data outside the European Union, including in the United States, under the safeguards they offer. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a working and secure website.
Map services
Map backgrounds are loaded from third-party providers such as OpenTopoMap, Esri and the U.S. Geological Survey. When your browser loads them, those providers receive your IP address.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, and you can object to its processing, by writing to the address above. You can also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
Changes
If we add accounts, payments or analytics, we will update this policy before doing so.
