Utah Friends of Paleontology, Southwest Chapter
The St. George chapter of the Utah Friends of Paleontology, a statewide volunteer group that works with the Utah Geological Survey and museum paleontologists. Monthly talks by paleontologists at Utah Tech University in St. George, and field trips for members, such as trilobite hunts in the Cambrian rocks near Pioche, Nevada. Anyone can join by paying the chapter dues on the UFOP website.
